I thought I would post one more Image from the West Coast trip before we start highlighting some of our recent commercial work on the blog.
Let me start by saying that I love surfing probably more then any other land-locked Albertan. As I write this post I am checking the swell to see which night I will have to stay up to watch the Quiksilver pro France. ( It’s looking like tonight). Surfing is something that I don’t get to do nearly enough, so when the chance comes you would be hard pressed to get me out of the water. I decided that this would be the trip that I would take the time to photograph a surfer and a few landscapes. Below are a few shots of the wonderful Chelsey. She was kind enough to take some time to model for me on this foggy afternoon. We shot a couple frames before we were both itching to get back in the water.
Side note. if you’ve never been to Tofino I highly recommend it. It is one of the most remote places in Canada, but also one of the most beautiful. If you can handle the treacherous winding road from Nanaimo to Tofino you will reap the reward of witnessing lush forests and rising mountains backdropping the beautiful Pacific ocean.
